The 10-mile distance is the perfect challenge for runners of all pace and endurance levels. It is a warm-up for a marathon, or a distance trainer for something a little shorter, like a 10K. Challenge yourself and your friends/family this fall with the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler. The cool, fall season will ensure a great tour of the city while pushing you to your distance or speed goals.
The Galloway Run Walk Run Training Program is being offered for the EQT Pittsburgh. It utilizes a run-walk-run method invented by Jeff Galloway, American Olympian, author, coach, avid runner and motivational speaker. The Galloway Run Walk Program is faciliatated through the Steel City Road Runners Club. If you are not already a member of the Steel City Road Runners, you will have the option to purchase a membership during the registration process.
