PITTSBURGH  – P3R announced road closures related to the 2021 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 7. More than 3,500 participants from 36 states and four countries are expected to participate in-person and virtually in the Pittsburgh-themed race.  

This year’s race celebrates the best that Pittsburgh has to offer, including pickles, pierogies, cookie tables, Pittsburghese, and more! Each mile will have a Pittsburgh theme, so runners can experience their favorite things that are unique to Pittsburgh throughout the course. Click here to learn more about the themed miles.  

The 2021 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler course  takes participants on a scenic tour of four of Pittsburgh's unique neighborhoods and across three of its golden bridges. The race will:  

●       Start on West Carson Street near Station Square
●       Continue through the West End, North Side, Strip District and Downtown
●       Finish Downtown in front of EQT Plaza, on the corner of 7th Street and Liberty Avenue  

Road closures for the event will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, with a rolling opening as runners pass through each neighborhood. In addition to these closures, cars will not be able to park on roads along the race route starting at 4:00 a.m. Residents and businesses located on or near the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler course are urged to plan ahead.
