Awards
10 Miler Prize Purse
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the EQT 10 Mile race. The 2025 prize awards are listed below:

Cash Prize Rules
- Cash awards are based on gun time, not chip time.
- EQT 10 Miler has a zero tolerance drug policy. Athletes who participate in EQT 10 Miler events may be subject to drug testing conducted by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) or other licensed entity. Athletes with positive drug test results will forfeit any prize money and will be disqualified from the event in which such athlete participated.
Awards for the 2025 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler & 10K will be distributed as follows:
Male and Female Division Awards: 10 Mile/10K
In each of the Male and Female Divisions, awards will be given to:
- First Place
- Second Place
- Third Place
Overall Male/Female Division Awards are based on gun time, not chip time. All other awards are based on chip time.
Male and Female Masters Division Awards: 10 Mile/10K
In each of the Male and Female Divisions, awards will be given to:
- First Place
- Second Place
- Third Place
Masters awards are based on chip time. Masters are eligible for overall awards but not eligible for age group awards.
Non-Binary Division Awards: 10 Mile/10K
Awards will be given to:
- First Place
- Second Place
- Third Place
*Those participating in the non-binary division are not qualified for age group awards.
Age Group Awards
In the male and female divisions for the 10 Miler, awards will be distributed to the top three finishers (based on chip time) in the following age categories:
- 14-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75-79
- 80+
In the male and female divisions for the 10K, awards will be distributed to the top three finishers (based on chip time) in the following age categories:
- 12-14
- 15-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75-79
- 80+
Bonus Categories:
P3R Corporate Challenge presented by FedEx: 10 Mile/10K
Awards will be given to:
- First Place Man
- First Place Woman
- First Place Non-Binary
Corporate Challenge awards are based on chip time. Corporate Challenge are eligible for overall awards and are eligible for age group awards.
- Masters and Corporate Challenge are bonus categories. You can win overall awards and still win any of these awards. Only overall winners (Top 3 Male, Female and Open) are taken out of age-groups. These categories are based on chip time, not gun time.
- Awards will be shipped to each winner in the mail approximately three weeks after the event. Participants have 1 week from race day to notify P3R of any result discrepancies.
