P3R Announces Road Closures for the 2022 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K

PITTSBURGH  – P3R announced road closures related to the 2022 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 6. Nearly 5,000 participants from 28 states and six countries are expected to participate in the “most Pittsburgh race ever” that will feature Pittsburgh-themed miles and local entertainment along the course.  

The 2022 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler course takes participants on a scenic tour of four of Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods and across three of its golden bridges.

The 10-mile race will start at 7:30 a.m. on West Carson Street near Station Square.        The race continues through the West End, North Side, Strip District and Downtown. The 10K race starts at 8:15 a.m. near mile 4 of the 10-mile course and follows the same route.Both races finish Downtown in front of EQT Plaza, on the corner of 7th Street and Liberty Avenue.  

Road closures for the event will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, as participants pass through each neighborhood. In addition to these closures, cars will not be able to park on roads along the race route starting at 4:00 a.m. Residents and businesses located on or near the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler course are urged to plan ahead.
